November 16, 2010: Capturing Childhood
There are certain unexpected moments as a photographer that remind me of how rewarding my job can be. After posting the slide show for my latest family shoot, the mother called me in tears. "I love them so much, I just don't want them to grow up." I got off the phone and hugged my daughter a little tighter than before. For this is something that I will learn all too soon.

October 19, 2010: Harvest Season
It is still warm here, but the sun is setting earlier and a cooler breeze comes calling. Autumn is here. This was one of my favorite seasons as a kid, the time when corn mazes and hay rides are abound. The only worry in life was what Halloween costume to choose this year, whether you would get the good candy and how do we get out of this maze. Oh to be a kid again...
